About the role
Founding SRE for one of Japan’s largest trading-card e-commerce platforms: define the reliability practice from scratch — SLO/SLI, IaC, observability, and incident response — for a high-traffic consumer service.
Responsibilities
- Design and establish the company’s SRE foundations
- Define SLO/SLI; build observable system architecture
- Lead Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform)
- Manage incident-response protocols
- Leverage AI tools for automation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure / SRE / DevOps experience
- 3+ years managing AWS production environments
- Terraform proficiency
- Production incident management and root-cause analysis
Nice to have
- Kubernetes; GCP
- High-traffic systems
- Go / Python / TypeScript scripting
- Database optimization; security audits
- AI-driven automation
