Salary (published): ¥9,000,000–¥12,000,000 / year (incl. 45h/month fixed overtime allowance). Optional 3-month trial.

Engineering management at a generative-AI company: build the organizational foundations — hiring, evaluation, team design — that let Algoage’s Generative AI Division scale.

Responsibilities

• Build organizational foundations for scalable development
• Oversee and refine recruitment operations
• Conduct 1-on-1s, goal-setting, and performance evaluations
• Administer evaluation systems
• Design team composition and organizational structure

Qualifications

• People-management experience (evaluations, 1-on-1s, mentoring)
• Recruitment operations (interviewing, requirements, scheduling)
• Software-development or project-management background
• Technical fluency to discuss engineering challenges

Nice to have

• Organizational design and HR systems
• AI-driven process automation
• Contractor / external-partner management
• EM / VPoE / tech-lead experience

Tech stack

React/Next.js, TypeScript/Hono, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, GitHub Actions, Datadog, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
