Salary (published): ¥7,200,000–¥12,000,000 / year. Languages: Japanese proficiency required — JLPT N1.

About the role

Backend and infrastructure engineering for Actcast, Idein’s edge-AI platform — server side, device firmware, and the compiler/SDK tooling that makes fast inference on constrained hardware possible.

Responsibilities

• Server-side and infrastructure design, development, maintenance, and operations
• IoT device firmware development and management
• High-speed compiler and SDK design and development
• Technical validation of libraries and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Backend engineering experience
• Self-directed learning; HRT principles (Humility, Respect, Trust); strong communication
• Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1)

• Rust

• CI/CD systems
• Linux, databases, distributed systems, Pub/Sub
