About the role

Playing manager for Kurashiru’s mobile team: manage roughly 10 mobile developers while personally coding about 70% of the time, on one of Japan’s largest consumer recipe apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage ~10 mobile developers while coding ~70% of the time
• Align with leadership on engineering strategy tied to business goals
• Establish AI-native development practices across the team
• Make technical architecture decisions
• Drive organizational process improvements; optimize product value via analytics
• Define the mobile-app strategy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial app development (iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin)
• Mobile architecture design (MVVM / MVI)
• Agile (Scrum) development
