Salary (published): ¥10,008,000–¥15,000,000 / year (base ¥834,000–¥1,250,000 / month incl. fixed overtime), plus performance bonuses. 3-month probation. Languages: Conversational Japanese plus business English (TOEIC 800+ equivalent).

About the role

Senior engineering leadership in Money Forward’s SMB Product Development Division — global, multi-location teams, with a path toward Deputy / Division Manager.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and retain engineers across global, multi-location teams
• Align technical roadmaps with business strategy
• Balance engineering resources and manage stakeholder expectations
• Champion modern architectures and reduce technical debt
• Drive organizational strategy across the SMB Product Development Division

Qualifications

• Track record improving operational processes and optimizing team performance
• Strong engineering mentorship, recruitment, and career development
• Collaboration with PMs and executive leadership
• Solid web-application development and architecture foundation

Nice to have

• Managing organizations of several dozen engineers
• International / remote-first teams
• Financial, ERP, or B2B SaaS domain experience
• Refactoring monoliths; AI dev tools
• Ruby, Go, or Kotlin
